|Object Name||Pottery Vase Or Umbrella Stand|
Pottery vase or umbrella stand. Round flat base with excurvate then incurvate sides that flare out into round rim. Made of marbelized mixture of blue, brick red, brown and cream-colored clay on a potter's wheel. Natural matte finish on exterior and top part of interior which might suggest that this piece was used as an umbrella stand because vases were glazed on the inside to hold water.
