    Nightstick. Typical of those made for and used by police officers. This style has a decoratively turned handle for ornamentation and a knob and was designed to be worn by an officer in full dress uniform and on special occassions, such as parades. It is made of rosewood. This type of nightstick was first introduced in 1876 and was used through the 1960s.
