Description |
Badge of the Improved Order of Red Men. Made of silk ribbon with gold decorative fringe. One side is red with white printing "Karankawa / Tribe No. 15 / Imp'd O.R.M. Galveston, Tex. " and top has metal portion with an eagle and white ribbon hanging down with two U.S. Flags on it and ending in a round metal button with a picture of a Native American (Dramatization). Back of ribbon is black and has same wording with addition of "In Memorium". This side was worn on occasions of mourning. Signed |
